Alex was born and raised in Puerto Rico. While growing up, her family had dogs, birds, rabbits, and a pot-belly pig. She enjoys the open water and has been SCUBA certified since she was 15 years old. She has a bachelor’s degree in general biology, as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration.
She moved to Tucson in 2017 and obtained her veterinary technician degree from Pima Medical Institute, obtaining her veterinary technician license in AZ (CVT) in 2019. She has become “Fear Free – Elite” certified, providing patients with a stress-free experience. She is also certified to provide Class IV laser therapy treatments. She joined Cañada del Oro Pet Clinic in July of 2019.
Alex has 2 dogs: Sombra, a great dane mix, and Yunque the little bit of everything mixed breed.
